Resource Academia
Realizing the importance of high standard
education, especially in the foundation years which play a pivotal role
in the physical and mental development of children, the Punjab Group of
Colleges with a proven track record of producing hundreds of professionals
in Law, Commerce, Business and IT, has taken a landmark initiative in
the field of primary education by establishing Resource Academial.
Resource Academia is an institution
comprising three branches, the Pre-Junior School from Pre- School to Class III, Middle and Senior
School from Class IV to O Level and an A Level Campus. Buildings have been planned to accommodate
over 1200 students. The institution is fully equipped to impart high quality
education through its state of the art science and computer laboratories,
library and research facilities. The curriculum has been developed by
a team of highly learned subject specialists and is based on the GCE O
& A Level British National Curriculum, which is regularly updated
according to the ever growing educational needs. A sustained evaluation
and development system is followed, beginning from pre school and proceeding
upwards according to the standards and requirements of QCA (Qualification
and Curriculum Assessment Authority) of the United Kingdom leading to
Cambridge International Examinations.
Resource Academia provides a highly
interactive environment to groom children, engaging them in activities
that involve imagination, exploration and innovation. To us every child
is a unique person with an individual pattern of learning, understanding,
assimilation and analyzing. Resource Academia believes that these formative
years, if handled professionally by dedicated and qualified educationists,
can make the vital difference between success and failure.

Guidelines of Behaviour
Rules on Attendance and Leave
Respect for rules is the first
lesson of education. Parents and pupils are expected to read and abide
by the following rules:
- Pupils must be punctual and regular in attendance; 90% attendance
is mandatory (except in conditions beyond one's control), failing which
a pupil will be liable to detention in a class.
- Pupils are expected to arrive well before the start of School - the
gate will be closed 5 minutes after the first bell after which pupils
will not be allowed entry.
- Adults collecting pupils after school must be in possession of a school
pass for identification purposes.
- Parents/Guardians must have pupils picked up within 30 minutes of
the School's closing time. The School will not be responsible for any
pupil’s safety 30 minutes after the School is closed.
- No pupil is allowed to leave the School before the closing time, except
in an emergency and with the written permission of the Administrator.
- All pupils from Class 1 to the O Level must wear School Uniform,
without which he/she will not be allowed entry into the School. The
uniform must be clean and properly ironed.
- Parents/Guardians wishing to absent the child from School for reasons
other than illness should seek written permission from the Principal.
The Parent/Guardian must sign all applications for leave. Such leave
is normally discouraged by the School since it is disruptive to the
child's educational program.
- In case of illness, Parents/Guardians must inform the school immediately
by phone and later followed by a written application brought in by the
Parent/Guardian or the pupil on his/her return. For an absence of more
than 3 days, a doctor's note/medical certificate must be produced.
- In case of Pupils who remain absent from school for more than a month without notice, new admission may be required
Rules on Conduct and Discipline
All pupils and parents are expected to abide
by the following rules; failure to comply with School Rules may result
in a fine, withdrawal or even expulsion.
- All pupils are expected to show decent conduct in accordance with
our customs and traditions.
- All pupils are expected to be courteous, considerate and well behaved
towards teachers, fellow pupils and custodian staff.
- No pupil is allowed to leave the classroom without the permission
of his/her teacher.
- Pupils must abide by the rules laid down by the School Administration
and Teachers.
- Pupils must observe silence in the corridors.
- Pupils must abstain from loitering about, wall chalking and pasting
posters on any part of the School building.
- Pupils must not pluck flowers or plants on the School premises.
- Pupils may use the School telephone with permission but not be in possession of a mobile phone while on the School premises.
- Smoking on the School primises is strictly prohibited.
- Mobile phones found in possession of students will be confiscated and not returned.
Offences which may result in withdrawal/expulsion of the student
- willful damage to school property
- bullying or mistreatment of juniors
-
unbecoming conduct
- parents'/students' misconduct with the school staff

Our uniform reflects our philosophy;
a blend of tradition and innovation. There is a gradual transition in
the uniform according to the changing needs of the students.
